This is really interesting. It shows Hunter’s Point and Porter’s Island with Brockway’s nose at right and Lake Fanny Hooe in the back.

Leave a Comment (0) →This post card features the second Isle Royale Queen. This was the the first ship the Kilpela family purchased to take passengers to Isle Royale National Park. The boat was yellow when purchased due to the wrong color being used by the seller. It ran a season before being painted white. There are not many photos of the yellow version out there.
The Kilpela’s continue to serve passengers today on the Isle Royale Queen IV.
