A nature lovers paradise, the Copper Harbor area is long known for it's beautiful and interesting scenic attractions. There's plenty do whether you enjoy physical activity or just want to relax.

There are preserves, sanctuaries and even one of the countries two island National Parks - Isle Royale, which have set aside special, natural areas for public access.

Do some berry picking in the fruiting season. The relatively unexplored area surrounding Copper Harbor could yield a nice berry patch. Make some fresh jam over a campfire.

You may see the Aurora Borealis aka northern lights. The best seat in the house is atop Brockway Mountain. This is also a fantastic spot to stargaze.

The sunsets and dramatic and beautiful. Watch the sunset on Brockway Mountain or Lake Superior shores. Take a sunset cruise aboard the Isle Royale Queen VI, or the Copper Harbor Lighthouse Tour boat.
