Delaware Mine - Tour an authentic copper mine above and below ground to learn the history of the rugged men who mined the ore. Lake Superior Sunset Cruises aboard the Isle Royale Queen IV. July 4 through Labor Day, 4 days a week, Tues, Weds. Thurs., and Sat. Charters available. Cruise length: 90 minutes minimum. The Queen IV sails outside Copper Harbor along Keweenaw Coast and chases lake freighters. Departure time starts July 4 at 8:30 p.m., but later in summer the boat departs earlier as the sun sets earlier. Going to Isle Royale Isle Royale Queen IV - Copper Harbor to Isle Royale. Visit Michigan's only National Park and one of the Nation's two Island National Parks. The Isle Royale Queen IV provides transportation to the island for Rock Harbor Lodge guests as well as backpackers, kayakers, and canoeists. The vessel also provides Day Trips to Isle Royale all summer, often with special day-trip rates up to 50% off.
