27th Annual Bell’s Beer Copper Harbor Trails Fest

The 27th Annual Bell’s Beer Copper Harbor Trails Fest takes place September 4 – September 6, 2020 in Copper Harbor, MI. The annual Labor Day Weekend event features Enduro races, short (~15 miles) and long (~30 miles) XC courses, Downhill Race, a Junior MTB race (for kids 13 & under), and a 10K Trail Run. Enjoy music, beer, and good times on Saturday and Sunday! The open/expert Enduro is part of the Lake Superior Gravity Series.  Please check the participant guide below for details from the 2019 event so you can start dreaming of what’s to come in 2020!

13th Annual Geocaching Event

This year’s non-competitive event features temporary caches of varying difficulty around Fort Wilkins Historic State Park. Registration begins at 9:00 AM in the Day Use area.

Spend the morning and early afternoon following provided coordinates to locate caches hidden around the park, and end the day at 2:00 PM with a picnic lunch, fire, and prize drawing with the Campground Hosts in the Day Use area!

 

**Prize tickets will be distributed upon registration. One prize ticket per person.

Longest Day Fishing Tournament ~ 6/20

Longest Day Fishing Tournament in Copper Harbor

*Registration will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on June 19th. Early registration forms can be picked up at the Keweenaw Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in Calumet and the Mariner North.
A pre-tournament meeting will be held on Friday at the Mariner North and will include refreshments, live music and a fish boil.

Description
Held on the waters of Lac La Belle, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor and Lake Fanny Hooe. Awards Ceremony at 8 pm at the Mariner North in Copper Harbor. Check in and weighing of fish will be done at the Gaslite General Store.

Have you registered for Ride the Keweenaw yet? Tshirt deadline has been extended until Monday night. Right now you can take part in the Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro #1, Taste of the Harbor dinner on Sunday and get an event Tshirt for only $50. Skills clinics are offered at Michigan Tech and Swedetown on Saturday for $10 – preregistration required. No need to preregister for the free group rides or scavenger hunt but tshirts must be preordered. For each group ride you take part in you can earn tickets for end of the day door prizes at Swedetown!
