Copper Harbor is located in Keweenaw County, the northernmost county in Michigan. To top that, Copper Harbor is the northernmost town in Michigan. There are a few towns, our neighbors, that are in close proximity. These places are definitely worth visiting along the way or for a day trip. When in Copper Harbor, don’t miss a visit to our Welcome Center. The center features information about the town, things to do, brochures and all kinds of interesting things to look at. The Welcome Center is open and has an attendant during the summer months only. In the off-seasons and winter, you may still visit the 24 hour lobby which is chock full of brochures and info for visitors.
