Porter’s Island

Lake Superior’s level is very low right now. Porter’s Island is accessible by foot at this time. There are few places where you have to rock hop but it is do-able. The lake does experience seiche, an effect like the tide. The level can change quite a bit in just a few minutes. One notices this especially when looking for rocks to step on!
