Keweenaw Mountain Lodge – Copper Harbor has a beautiful and challenging 9 hole golf course as well as a fun disc golf course, both located at the KML. The disc course hosts a variety of challenging holes along a meadow and within wooded areas.  No charge to use – discs are available to purchase or rent at the Keweenaw Adventure Company.

Lake Superior Sunset Cruises aboard the Isle Royale Queen IV. July 4 through Labor Day, 4 days a week, Tues, Weds. Thurs., and Sat. Charters available. Cruise length: 90 minutes minimum. The Queen IV sails outside Copper Harbor along Keweenaw Coast and chases lake freighters. Departure time starts July 4 at 8:30 p.m., but later in summer the boat departs earlier as the sun sets earlier.

Going to Isle Royale?

Isle Royale Queen IV – Copper Harbor to Isle Royale. Visit Michigan’s only National Park and one of the Nation’s two Island National Parks. The Isle Royale Queen IV provides transportation to the island for Rock Harbor Lodge guests as well as backpackers, kayakers, and canoeists. The vessel also provides Day Trips to Isle Royale all summer, often with special day-trip rates up to 50% off.

Delaware Mine – Tour an authentic copper mine above and below ground to learn the history of the rugged men who mined the ore.

Fort Wilkins State Park – An exciting living museum with a fully reconstructed fort, walking trails, picnic, and playground area, gift shop, and camping. You can feel the history as you walk by Michigan’s early mine sites at the fort and lighthouse with their interpretive guides.

Astor House Museum – At Minnetonka Resort – preserves some of the Keweenaw’s rarest and most unique artifacts. Relive history through relics of the earliest known settlers and  browse mining tool displays from the copper boom days of the mid-1800’s. The museum houses an exquisite collection of over 400 antique dolls from across the  globe and much more.
